The iconic rock band from West London, Queen, is all set to perform at the Chase Center in San Francisco on November 8, 2022, with Adam Lambert as their lead singer. The band, consisting of Brian May and Roger Taylor, two of the original surviving members, has influenced the music industry since the 1970s, and their songs like “We Will Rock You,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and “Under Pressure” still feature on classic rock radio stations and sports arenas worldwide.
Adam Lambert’s journey began when he auditioned for American Idol in San Francisco in 2009, singing “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Since then, he has released five solo albums and amassed over four million social media followers. Like Mercury, Lambert is a queer icon, and both their names are now linked with the iconic ballads of Queen.
Queen and Adam Lambert started touring together in 2012, following the American Idol season where he was runner-up. The chase center concert is not their first time in the Bay Area since they last performed at the SAP center in San Jose in 2017.
The band’s reputation precedes them, and they are ensuring that fans are not ripped off and only tickets resold at face value price, as this is a significant problem with scalpers and resellers. “We get pissed off at the fact that fans get ripped off by people scalping and buying tickets purely for resale. We hope the fans feel that we’re trying to take care of them in that way,” stated Brian May in a recent interview.
The Northern American tour will feature 14 shows in barely over a month, starting on July 4, 2022, and ending on August 17, 2022. In conclusion, Queen and Adam Lambert have an undisputed legacy in the music industry, and their return to the San Francisco Bay Area is not to be missed. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m., and fans should get theirs as quickly as possible not to miss the chance to watch these rock legends perform live.
