Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lopez’s co-star in the 2005 film “Monster-in-Law,” claimed that Lopez never apologized for cutting Fonda on the set. In a scene where Fonda’s character wore white to upset the bride, Lopez did the slapping while wearing an enormous diamond ring, which allegedly caused a cut above Fonda’s eyebrow. While the scene was reportedly painful, Lopez was honest about her fear of hurting Fonda and stated she was afraid of Fonda as an actress. Fonda, on the other hand, said that Lopez only said sorry in the film when their characters reconciled.
Fonda, now 85 years old, has been a Hollywood staple since the 1960s and returns to the spotlight from time to time. In 2015, after a 15-year break from acting, she made her comeback through “Monster-in-Law.” Fonda shared that she thought the film would bring her joy again and that it was the only smart career move she made.
Despite the on-set incident, it appears that Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez have a strong relationship. Lopez has stated that Fonda was brave, and Fonda has disclosed that she admires Lopez’s backbone. While spectacular actors with different personalities, they are just as human as anyone else.
